your optimism will get us where we need to go but I'm scared that you'll be let down when we don't get anywhere, no explosions, bright lights or anything of that kind it is all in the mind, and the way we relate to ourselves, each other, the rest of the world, in decline but it feels like ...

my dark visions of what's to come, everything comes undone, back to the origin, withstanding being overrun by animals, you see we never got gurnsey into heaven or a CIA bunker. Sounds like a quality brand, sounds fun ... will our children want to come?

deep, deep breathes, won't let you rest, it could be dangerous but i guess its high risk, high return, why won't anyone make a big stand? all the polls tell us people won't change, we're set in our ways, a big shift will come… or gradual over time or nothing will happen at all and we’ll be just fine, and i will cry, i will cry that we'll be just fine.
